Cat Kisses and Dog Breath comprises of two intertwining stories. One is about a prize persian cat that escapes from the house for the first time. Her escapades are light hearted, funny and sometime downright dangerous, if you’re a cat that is. Most of her problems are caused when she meets two other cats, who are not like her, they are rough and ready, and always getting into trouble. The dog side of all this is Deefer, a stray bearded collie cross, that arrives on Christmas morning looking sorry for himself. The family that take him in realise almost at once that this dog is very special, he has a certain gift, an uncanny knack of helping them out, sometimes without them even realising it. Deefer will make you smile, he might even make you feel a little sad.
