MR. MOLE THE GREENKEEPER.

Although the title may lead you to believe that these amusing little stories are all about golf, let me assure you, there is not a single round of golf played on any of these pages. So, let me begin. Mr. Mole is the Greenkeeper of the local village Golf Club. He does, however, have a big problem; mounds of earth are appearing everywhere. Eric Von stickler the Armadillo, who owns just about everything in the village, wants it sorted. In the meantime, Philbert Penguin his Butler, (well, no one else would look the part now would they?) is stealing his trout from the farm and selling them to Zorro Magpie. It all comes to a climax at the May Fair where, it seems, all the food for sale is fish and every prize to be won is also a fish. I wonder where that all came from? A different little group of stories, all interconnecting, that  both reader and listener should find entertaining. I have a feeling that this book might not sell very well, I wrote it mainly for a bit of fun, with the idea that if an adult read it to a young child, the reader would be able to have a little chuckle here and there without having to explain anything to the listener. On the other hand, if like me you sometimes want to indulge in complete escapism, and read something quite silly and full of nonsense, then read  Mr. Mole, at least you will know what to expect.
